An exiled princess, a mute, misshapen dwarf, and a perilous quest across the Western Seas—Edmund Leamy’s timeless Irish fairy tale shimmers with courage, sacrifice, and love fulfilled. Cursed by a usurping uncle’s sorceress, Princess Finola wastes away on a silent moor, watched by a cruel old woman. Her only comfort is the monthly visit of a kind, speechless dwarf who adores her. When a green hill fairy restores his voice and reveals the path to break the spell, the dwarf rides for the Island of the Mystic Lake to win a silver shield and a spear of the dark blue blade. The price is terrible: his sight. Yet the reward is wondrous—a revelation of true identity and a love set free.

With lilting warmth and musical cadence, narrator Eleesha Lewis brings the hush of the enchanted moor, the hiss of the sea-steeds, and the golden ring of the fairy’s harp vividly to life. Perfect for families, folklore lovers, and fans of classic fairy tales, Princess Finola and the Dwarf is a radiant Celtic romance about bravery, loyalty, and the magic that answers a steadfast heart.
