Early death flags avoided. Time to build an empire.

With a half-frozen fortress, a vampire sister who hits like a natural disaster, and a blood-drinking dryad fertilizing his fields, I have everything I need to found a kingdom.

All I have to do is outmaneuver a werewolf plague, keep a wind mage addicted to my blood-spiked drugs, and survive a royal court full of nobles who smile while they plot my execution.

I've played this game. I know how every major event is supposed to go.

The problem? I've already changed too much.

Najtrafniejsze

I liked how the second book is going forward with a lot of things. And it introduces a lot more new characters I enjoyed.

Very good Book.

I recently learned that, this is the authors first series he wrote and boy it shows. The book itself is enjoyable enough if you're able to ignore all the plot that makes no sense, the lack of stakes, or the glaring inconsistency of established powers, and the buttload of handwaving over retconns.

The narrator is great but the Overall experience is hardlocked at 3* by the weak book he's narrating.

Inkonsitency the novel
