Syl was given a choice by Gramps when they died. Reincarnate as a regular person or embark on a daring experiment. Driven by a desire to honor Gramps and a sense of adventure, Syl chose the latter... only to awaken as a lowly slime.
A farmed slime.
The life of a farmed slime was cruel. Syl was constantly at the mercy of humans, a slime whose only purpose was to eat and recycle garbage. The threat of lethal core-destroying knives wielded by innocent children was a constant shadow. This was not the life Syl had envisioned. So, they made a daring escape to the wilderness!
Along the way, Syl discovered the joy of eating everything they encountered. But the local monsters weren't too thrilled with another creature moving in. Humans, dwarves, and elves see monsters as nothing but experience. Goblins see Syl as an exploitable resource.
With the odds stacked against Syl, the question of their survival loomed large. Could they not just survive but thrive? Could they unlock new magic and integrate new slime cores? The future was a vast, uncharted territory, but Syl was unwavering in their determination to explore it, no matter the challenges that lay ahead.
And the biggest question of all—
Can Syl make any friends?

The best slime ever! Awesome!

Wenn man eine Geschichte sucht die angenehm zu hören ist, so von Zero to Hero auch wenn wir hier keinen richtigen Helden haben dann ist das genau richtig, lasst euch nicht vom Slime abschrecken. Ist praktisch eine Person in einem Monster, die menschlich kommunizieren will, dann ist das hier genau das richtige.
Zum Sprecher (weiblich), zuerst dachte ich das passt doch nicht richtig, aber dadurch daß der Slime zuerst eine weibliche Elfe repräsentiert (auch wenn das sich im zweiten Teil wahrscheinlich teilweise ändern wird) dann passt es doch! Und sie macht einen super Job in Kombination mit dem guten alten Soundboard was dich männlichen Stimmen wirklich männlich macht ist das wirklich 1A.
Also kläre Kaufempfehlung ich hoffe ich konnte einen guten Einblick geben, das Buch ist gerade für die was die schon Erfahrung in dem Genre haben aber auch für Neulinge haben ihren Spaß. Bitte beachten Story ohne große Höhen und Tiefen!

Anfangs geht es langsam voran, doch sobald mehr Figuren hinzukommen spielen die Erzähler ihre Karten gut aus.
Die Charaktere entwickeln sich langsam und man kann mit Syl mitfühlen. Hier und da wird man erinnert wieso sich LitRPG besser liest als hört. Aber Insgesamt ist es sparsam verteilt.
Das Spielsystem ist interessant und klassisch solide.
Ich möchte gern wissen wie es mit dem gar nicht mehr so kleinem Schleim weiter geht.

- Grate style.
- Great voice acting.
- A fresh and honest perspective.
- The setting and state are explained.
- No identity politics!
I have been looking for basically something like this and i am so happy how it turned out and did not mess up by devolving into identity politics (i can't stress enough how often that happens with this type of content and how annoying that is)
So yes, i wholeheartedly enjoyed this Audio-book and really want the next books to be published!
