Über diesen Titel
A side quest adventure in the best-selling world of Awaken Online!
Eliza's parents are relentless - forcing her to constantly take extra courses to prepare for college and medical school. Sometimes, it feels like her entire life has already been planned out.
Which is why she leaps at the chance to escape into a new virtual reality game, Awaken Online. What she wasn't expecting was to encounter a capricious god and his loyal "pet". Or to be chosen as this god's "avatar" within the game and forced to tackle a series of asinine quests.
Yet she just can't shake the feeling that there is more to the irritating god than first meets the eye.
(This story is intended to be book 5 in the Awaken Online series. It should be listened to after Awaken Online: Evolution.)

Still good but the weakest of the series so far

It did certainly not catch me as much as the other books of the series did so far.
The main problem seems to me: book 3.5 is a prequel to book 3.
So, if you listen to book 3.5 after the main book 3 (as the numbering implies you should) it feels kinda anticlimactic most of the time - expect in the end, but the story has other weaknesses here imho.
So, since you already know from book 3 what elisa (main character here) will be capable of doing in the end, you cant realy be excited when she first learns to utilize her abilities and discovers other things along her way you already know from main book 3.
The story also connects a little bit to jasons actions taking place in parallel in the beginning, but omits this tiny influence as the story continues. So no cool "so that systemwide announced action done by jason also influenced other players to think or do that, awesome"-moments.
So all in all I would recommend to listen to this story before listening to book 3 of the main series (in which jason and elisa meet) because i think nothing for book 3 is spoilert here and experiencing elisas development will be much more interesting this way.
Not great, not bad - certainly feels out of order
