A Reincarnation Isekai Light Novel.

Getting assassinated sucks. Just ask Thomas, a man from Earth who made a few too many enemies. Or you could ask Lucian, the crown prince of another world who met a similar fate.

But if you were to ask either of them, then you'd actually be asking the same man, as Thomas' soul was crammed into Lucian's body during their simultaneous assassinations.

The Goddess who reincarnated him didn't do it for free, though. She tasked Lucian with the simple quest of saving the Almekian Kingdom from the brink of collapse.

At least, it would be simple for someone like Lucian, if it weren't for the God's Acolyte who's wreaking havoc in his new world. Not to mention the numerous other powerful players who don't really hold the crown prince in high regard.

With a blade lurking behind every corner, can Lucian even survive long enough to see the crown placed on his head?

Action, magic, and intrigue. And a cute foxgirl companion, of course.

The story is solid and interesting. Compared to other works of the author it feels a bit rushed at some points. The only gripe I got with this audio book is once again the royal guard narrators or rather the editor behind them. Double takes stay in the finished narration, some sentences are cut off at the very end and at times you hear the narrator snapping his fingers - I guess as a personal note in the recording for a mistake or such.

Interesting, but sat back a little by poor editing.
