Liked the magic system. Nice idea to relate it to electro engineering. But the overall story isn’t very creative, the characters aren’t very relatable and the solution to the tutorial is given by „godly intuition“ other word for: „the author give the solution“. Try „He who kills monsters“ or „Perfect Run“ (will not continue this series)

Great Voice acting.

Short introduction catapulting the reader/listener into the story. Fleshing out the background info by short flashbacks of the main character, while keeping a constant sense of urgency to keep up with the game.

Cover to cover entertaining and fun to listen to.

I just wish i had discovered this a little later, so there'd be some more books to binge through.

Well among the best works of the genre

Military guy with PTSD chooses Mission Impossible and gets on a world with classical litRPG character-roles people, like the nerd, the hippies, the suicidal goth, etc... and most importantly, the disposable bully/power-crazy-types, always trying to dominate for dominations sake that can easily get killed off without morality-issues.
But all in all, it's an entertaining read, good enough RPG-development (and even a bit of character-development & variation to not be cliche all the way, like the gorgeous assassin simply falling for the hero), and some funny twists & knacks. I enjoyed it.

It's definitely one of the better LitRPG audiobooks I've found.
It's got a solid story with reasonably acting characters, and lacks the sexist or cringe tropes other stories of this genre can have.
I can recommend it.

Der Sprecher war ziemlich gut und mir gefiel die Geschichte als solches, es war nicht einfach aufzuhören, zu hören. Mir persönlich hätte ein minimal gieriger und pragmatischer Jeb etwas besser gefallen, aber das war kein großes, nicht mal ein kleines Problem.

I think it is a solid story, but it kinda lacks the details. It feels often that the writer was not sure how deep he can lean into a concept and then the easy way out was just to dismiss it with a sentence "like the mist conplex trap with a thousand if and then" but no explanations of all these if and thens. The hero is also just like every basic hero and the side characters are pretty weak written. I do not know any background about them and at this point I don't want anymore.

Könnte im Aufbau etwas besser sein. Die SC sind leicht echt nervig.. und beim MC frage ich mich, warum da so viel unnötiges Drama mit Good-Guy-Komplex notwendig ist... ohne wäre das Buch statt 3 Sterne eher gen 5 Sterne gegangen.

Sollte man mal wieder eine Lücke zwischen seinen Favoriten haben, kann man diese Buchreihe anhören.

Qualitativ eher im soliden Mittelfeld des LitRPG Genres.

a year ago I think I could have really enjoyed the experience but now it's sadly only average at best nothing new nothing exiting just the average litrpg experience with by the way som bad caracter development

to me, this is the kind of story I can barely remember no matter how hard I try.

The story begins with a suicide attempt but 2 minutes later the main character is sassy with some fairies...

The author tried to create something of an inner conflict regarding war trauma but fails hard it's rather a memo telling you that this guy isn't the personification of dullness - he is.
