I’ve listened to all of the St Mary’s stories so far and liked this one best, as it is again full of interesting historical detail but also giving the story of the heroine several sharp twists which had me in tears but also made me laugh. And it’s narrated fabulously, as always, by Zara Ramm.

Great story but dark

I’ll start with: I am a huge fan. Love he books. Love even more the audio books. But his time they made it too easy...

Plus: Witty, funny, st. Mary’s.
Minus: Naive, predictable and cheesy.
