Ich war zuerst positiv überrascht und freute mich auf die Fortsetzung Arthur Dents Geschichte, wurde aber im Laufe des Buches von so vielen unnötigen Nebenschauplätzen genervt und gelangweilt. Es hat sich derart gezogen, dass ich es nur noch aus Prinzip beendet habe und nicht weil es mir gefallen hat.

Trotzdem etwas besser so abzuschließen, als der deprimierende Schluss von Douglas Adams aus Band 5.

hard to keep up. often got confused with characters because the voices were neither distinguishable nor suited the characters' personality.

as compared to previous books, a let down

Schade! Ich weiß nicht woran es lag? An der hohen Latte die von Douglas Adams Werke gelegt wurde? An der Geschichte selbst? Am Sprecher? Der hat sich Mühe gegeben, sicher nicht schlecht per se, nur so gar nicht mein Fall, wie er die einzelnen Figuren gesprochen hat.
Habe alle Hörbucher Douglas Adams (von Martin Freeman) gelesen gehört. Spitzenklasse. Aber das hier? Puh, ich höre abends immer Hörbuch, aber ich kann nicht mehr zählen, wie oft ich bei diesem Hörbuch eingeschlafen bin und neu ansetzen musste.

Mein Tipp: bei Band 5 aufhören, gerne traurig sein, dass es der letzte Band ist, aber das tolle Gefühl behalten.

Ich kann verstehen, dass man nicht loslassen mag, aber hiermit tut man sich keinen Gefallen!

Eine Qual! Kein Vergleich zu Douglas Adams.
