Wie von Chris Carter gewohnt eine sehr spannender Krimi. Keine langwierig wirkenden Passagen.
Alles in allem sehr zufrieden.

Es ist immer schwierig, wenn der Sprecher wechselt. Man ist so an den bisherigen gewöhnt. Trotzdem gut gelesen.

This time the main thread of the story is built around Hunter‘s past rather than the action, that evolves towards the very end of the book. In the center stays a psychological dueling between detective Hunter on one side and his old university friend on the other side, that seem to incorporate the devil himself.
The book stands somewhat out of the series but still very entertaining to listen and good read to this.

The book is as always really good and engaging. But the performance almost led me to stop hearing. There were many weird, unnecessary pauses and there is a lot of room for improvement for doing women's voices.

Absolutely catching, its twists and unexpected turns upholding the suspense to the very end. Amazing in its imagination and really sickening in the evil of human kind. Hunter at its best.
