Rory is an omega prince, heir to the throne of the magical kingdom of Igella. His country's laws dictate that omegas must have a Regent to rule in their stead-and that the Regent must be an Alpha. Rory and Lex get married, and head back to Morovia, so that Lex can discover the truth about Rory's family, and his real mother, the "warlock" Vesper. Using his powers, Lex has to try to keep Rory alive long enough to reach Morovia. Along the way, they develop a burning attraction to each other, but dark forces are moving against them. It will take both of them, along with a little help from magical forces to come out of this alive and find their happily ever after.
