monika my giiiiirl!! is there anything this woman can't do?? well she can't resist taranis forever, but that's about it. everything else? she can do it and she will look good doing it 👑
taranis' hatred towards humans was so entertaining, loved to see it. he just genuinely doesn't give a f-ck. he didn't try to justify his actions, he was fully aware and okay with being the bad guy. so yeah obviously i liked him 🤭
easy to read, perfect mix of fun and "seriousness" (i can't think of better word, sorry). and the audiobook held my nonexistent attention span well, i listened ~30% first and rest of the book next day.
this series is the only alien romance i've read so far and i think it was a good starting point 👽
if it wasn't clear enough, i would definitely recommend this!! interconnected standalone so you don't have to read the first book (but it's great too).
