If you haven't listened to the previous volumes of this series, don't start with this one. HOWEVER, do yourself a favor and do start with book 1 as soon as possible. If you have listened to the previous books you know what you're in for with this one. It's the same great performance by the narrator and the same lovely storytelling you expect after the previous books.
In my opinion the first half of the story is slower than in the earlier titles but instead you get the feeling of meeting old friends and remembering the great times you used to have together. The overall ending is fulfilling and although I'm very sad to know this is the last book of Fred, I can let him and his house go with peace and love in my heart :)
