That is what happened here one man closed himself off from feelings and the other thought something else was love. So they were both ill-equipped to discern what they were feeling.
So their (self) torture began.
What a story, I enjoyed their sarcasm and banter - and I shed tears for them! I feel relieved, now that they found back to each other, at last.
