It's not as entertaining as the skippy device, but a solid emotional space adventure about a family/crew dealing with pirates and two kinds who save the world. Maybe it's a bit space romantic but solid.

The Story is kind of thin and doesn't come close to "Expeditionary Force". But this was my hope. In general enjoyable story.
