MARIEL SPARK KNOWS NOT TO TRUST A DEMON, BUT WHAT'S A WITCH TO DO WHEN SHE'S ACCIDENTALLY BOUND TO ONE?

'Whimsically sexy, charmingly romantic, and magically hilarious!' ALI HAZELWOOD

****

Mariel is prophesied to be the most powerful witch seen in centuries, but she prefers baking bread to brewing potions. When a spell goes very wrong, Mariel finds herself staring down a demon - one she inadvertently summoned for a soul bargain.

Ozroth the Ruthless is a legend among his kind. But ever since a bargain went awry, he's been a laughing stock. A deal with Mariel could earn back his deadly reputation. However, getting Mariel to sign over her soul is going to be a lot harder than he anticipated.

Ozroth can't leave her side until she makes a deal, and becoming awkward roommates quickly escalates into real attraction. But Ozroth is running out of time - and if he succeeds, he'll damn Mariel and their chances at love in the process.

I needed a light hearted romance that lifted my mood. Despite all odds people falling in love and accepting and appreciating their different strengths and talents. I really enjoyed this book. There were some parts that didn’t make a lot of sense to me due to characters switching up a bit. But overall it was an enjoyable listen/ read.

Exactly what I needed

Cute Story but Characters feel a bit younger than they actually are. There are some spicy scenes in the story.

Cute little Story

Witzig geschrieben und mal eine etwas andere Geschichte. Die Sprecherin an sich ist gut, wenn sie Frauen spricht. Beim Sprechen von Männer aber verstimmt sie die Figuren eher als wären es Senioren…

Niedliche Geschichte

The narrator: as long as she is speaking a female protagonist, she is really good but male characters are a torture. Almost comical.
The story: it is interesting but the realization touches only the surface. The author should have given more commitment to the story and less to the erotic scenes.
It is too 'adult' because of the very detailed sex scenes and too 'young' because of the plots simplicity.

Not really worth a credit.
