Audible usually has really good readers but in this instance it was not the case. The speaker sounded like an elderly lady and had a really annoying accent. Further, "monotone" best describes her reading style. As the first person narrator was supposed to be young and rather dynamic I was disappointed.

The narrator was a disappointment.
