The exterior and the interior.....beauty and the Beast.... Only the beast is s prince on the inside..... See beyond the veil, see with your heart instead oglf your eyes. And that's one of the best narration duets I ever listened to. I just never want to leave that story.

My very first monster romance, hahaaa! :D It was great but very slow paced. More like a "slice if life with a monster" slow burn. It was really great for doing chores in parallel though. And duet narration OH MY LORDS. Just the narration already made this worth it!!

I now understand the conflicting reviews. The beginning was quite interesting, I liked how the characters were slowly growing on each other... but then the main character's personality seems to change. She gets more bratty, and I didn't like it. Then there's Orpheus... he's a sweetheart, I would have liked if he was a bit more hesitant/distant towards her in the begining, instead of worshipping her so quickly. The author also describes the same thing in 4 different ways many, many times - it was quite annoying. The narrators did a good job, and having them always speaking for the male/female characters (respectively) was quite nice.

Ich lese generell gerne Bücher mit einer guten Portion Erotik, ich finde es aber extrem wichtig, dass die Handlung trotzdem spannend und fesselnd ist. Erotik allein reicht mir in einem Buch definitiv nicht.
Mmn wurde diese Balance hier sehr gut geschaffen. Die Charaktere und das world building sind glaubwürdig, interessant und spannend. Die Sprecher haben einen exzellenten Job geleistet!
Ich werde mir ziemlich sicher gleich Teil 2 anhören.
