Nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich überzeugend. Ich bin ein großer Fan der Reihe, aber vielleicht gehen dem Author die Ideen aus. So hat er sich zu diesem Buch hinreißen lassen. Dabei ist es schon ironisch: Victor sagt in dem Buch mehrmals, Menschen seien einfach und legten Gewohnheiten nicht ab… und dann ist dieses Buch von Anfang bis Ende ein Bruch mit seinen wichtigsten Gewohnheiten/ Regeln; es passt auch nicht zu ihm. Und als eine Form von „Entwicklung“ des Hauptcharakters stellt es sich auch nicht - glaubhaft- dar.
Fazit: kann man sich anhören, aber ich fürchte, die Reihe ist nun am Ende

You get what you expect. The story is tough and straight forward, with a few unexpected twists. Victor's superpower is a bit over the top, but who cares?

I loved the story and the speaker. I mostly enjoyed the bits about Victor‘s past . It would be great to find out how he became who he is .
