A nice summary

Tom Butler-Bowdon sums up 50 self-help classics, gives the key ideas, the biography of the author and the historic context. It is written from his Anglo-American perspective, so a continental version of this book has still to be produced. However, after this book you know exactly, which of his self-help books may be interesting to you. So it is definitely worth listening to, if you want to have a comprehensive overview.
The authors are in alphabetic order, so you jump back and forth in history. Why that? My audio book contained only a few chapters, so that you can not select one of the 50 authors. One track per author, named after the author, would be better. Hello Audible, can you improve that?
Anm.d.Audible-Red.: The publisher plans to provide a revised edition with shorter chapters in 2011. best regards!
