Arthyr C. Clarke é un autore che difficilmente si smentisce. Ascoltare la conclusione di un ciclo di romanzi cominciati prima che l'uomo camminasse sulla Luna mi causa una enorme commozione, soprattutto nel constatare quanta strada abbiamo percorso nei relativamente brevi trent'anni che sono intercorsi fra allora e la pubblicazione di questo capitolo finale. Clarke é un assoluto maestro nell'indurre la mente a spaziare in ciò che potrebbe essere.
Un ottimo capitolo conclusivo, ma sconsiglio di acquistarlo se non si conosce la narrativa della serie fino a questo punto.
