At some points in the recording, outtakes are still in and sections between two or three words up to several sentences are repeated. That is not the voice talents fault.
The reading was fitting for the stories and I enjoyed it a great deal.

Very well written. It's unsettling for me to listen to stories like this. There is a reason why I like Fantasy Distopian better.

Absolute Klassiker und hörenswert - leider sind Versprecher und verschiedene Takes doppelt mit im Hörbuch gelandet. Der Sprecher an sich ist mit sehr deutlicher Aussprache gut zu verstehen.

Klassiker mit fraglicher Produnktion

Gut gesprochen, komische Aufnahme. Es fehlen ab und zu Silben und ganze Wörter. Manchmal werden Satzteile, einmal sogar ein ganzer Paragraph wiederholt.

Schlechte Postproduction

Die Bücher sind natürlich grandios. Ich spreche es auch sehr gut und sehr gut verständlich. Leider ist die Produktion und fertig und nicht gut gemacht. Es sind noch viele Versprecher und Wiederholungen vorhanden. Teilweise werden ganze Kapitel wiederholen und der Sprecher Stolpert über schwierige Wörter und wiederholt sie für sich selbst. Das ist kein fertiges Produkt.

Well 1984 and Animal farm are amazing books and I would recommend them to everyone. 1984 takes a scary turn in the third part and left me amazed and shocked at the end of the book.

The recording is clear enough, but there are some problems in the middle of Animal Farm. Parts and words are repeated and the recording seems to have been released although not finally cut.
I am not a big fan of the voice actor, but that is personal preference. He spoke to choppy for my liking but articulated well.

George Orwell is a legend... this production isn't

Nicht empfehlenswert. Ein mittelmäßiger Sprecher und eine unterirdisch schlechte Produktion machen die Brillanz der Werke zur Nichte. Egal ob mit Kopfhörer oder űber Lautsprecher sind die Schnitte zwischen einzelnen Abschnitten - teils sogar mitten im Satz - deutlich hörbar (aufgrund Lautstärkeschwankungen). Pausen an Kapitelenden oder zwischen Absätzen wurden sinnloser Weise teils derart weggeschnitten, dass die Sätze ineinander űbergehen.
Mein persönliches Highlight ist in Kapitel 32 (Animal Farm): nach circa 7 Minuten kommt ein harter Schnitt und es wiederholt sich der zuvor gelesene Absatz. Die Dopplung umfasst circa 2, 5 Minuten Laufzeit. Wirklich grottenschlecht.
Wer diese absolut lesenswerten Meisterwerke genießen möchte, sollte sich dringend für eine andere Produktion entscheiden.

Geschichten top - Produktion flop!

Title says it all. These are classics for a reason and are read well. However on muttible occasions false starts and mistakes were left in. It’s not a dealbreaker but this could have had more time/budget for editing.

Amazing Books, good narrator, sloppy editing

so I thought, and guess it is, but I found both books samey. Personally, the narrator is not to my liking because I find him monotonous, especially in 1984.
