I listen to a lot of LitRPG for easy entertainment. While I really like that, I'm well aware that no higher level of literature is to be expected.
This one is a bit different.
Here a well aducated humanistic influenced atheist with socialist ideals and a background in political science is set into a feudalistic fantasy world.
I really enjoyed listening the story of an intelligent protagonist (saying intelligent stuff and doing clever things, not an author telling you how incredibly clever this guy is...). And it is really funny!
I had to laugh out loud 4 times. And when the Banana Man was referred to, the author broke me.
Please keep up with this story and with this great style!

Ich habe Nur ein Problem damit, wie die Meldungen des "Interfaces" des Protagonisten vorgelesen werden. Mir ist es leider zu repetitiv und langatmig immer die gesamte Meldung vorzulesen und nicht nur die Essenziellen Teile.
Des weitere stört mich bei Dialogen die ständige Erwähnung, wer der spreche ist mit uncreativen Abwandlungen von "... said".
Gegen Ende dieses Buches haben die oben genannten Kritikpunkte merklich nachgelassen, ich werde mir die weiteren Teile anhören.

Die Charaktere fühlen sich echt an, die Welt ist glaubwürdig, das Skill System mit den Essences und Awakening Stones ist genial. Und die Geschichte ist spannend.
Ja das erste Buch leidet am Anfang einwenig unter zu "simpler Sprache", "Jason said" wird eindeutig zu oft verwendet aber das wird zum Ende des Buches deutlich besser und ist in den folgenden Büchern kein Problem, ist mir zumindest nicht mehr aufgefallen.
Weil ich kein Buch im Genre gefunden hatte, das auch nur ansatzweise so gut ist habe ich einfach die ersten 6 Bücher nochmal gehört. Denn die Reihe zweimal zu hören, ist immernoch besser als ein anderes drittklassiges Buch anzufangen.
Kein Harem, kein Idioten MC, keine Fake Computerwelt mit null Spannung weil alles eh nicht echt ist und kein Kinderbuch.
