Funny and well read Version of Greek myths
I loved Mythos (Book) and therefore chose Heroes as an audiobook and loved it!
As the author himself reads it, he can read it exactly as he intended it when he wrote it, with all his charme, irony and wit.
I Like that he uses a modern writing style for this ancient Stories which makes them so much more approchable and also the funny remarks about all the absurditiy of those greek tales.

Brilliant
Once again, Stephen Fry brings us a collection of stories, along with some interesting facts and food for thought. I recommend this, along with Mythos.

Gripping trip to mythical times
Expectations were high after hearing "Mythos", but Stephen Fry managed again to keep my ear stuck to the audio book and never wanting to press the stop button. "His" stories are highly entertaining, instructive and gripping. They can be hilarious or terribly sad, depending on the plot. They're everything but boring and I am so grateful that Stephen Fry brought ancient myth down to us in such an easily abordable way. Stay on these roads, Mr. Fry, pleeease...

Stephen Fry at his best
Es ever, Stephen Fry uses his extraordinary talent as a writer, (voice) actor and comedian to transport the listener to age of Gody, monsters and heroes. A joy!

Among the best audiobooks in existence
Just like Mythos, this book is just "superb". Stephen Fry is one of the best speakers I have ever heard, even after several hours of continuous listening I did not get tired of hearing him. The book has wit, it doesn't judge but well question, it is excellent. I will most likely play this several times in the future.
