Das Buch ist sehr oberflächlich. Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass man daraus irgend etwas lernen kann. Es wirkt auf mich als ob der Autor das Buch schnell zusammen gebastelt hat. Nichts wird im Detail erklärt und nichts ist besonders überraschend. Es wirkt genauso schwach wie die zahllosen Youtube-Videos die erklären sollen wie man jeden noch so starken Angreifer mit "simplen Tricks" besiegen kann. Dabei bestehen die Tipps im Buch aus simplen Klishees die so gewählt wurden, dass sie für Hollywoodfilme zu langweilig sind und damit ein kleines Bisschen realistischer erscheinen. Ein Beispiel: Es wird erklärt, dass mit einer Taschenlampe und Fotofilm eine Infrarotlampe gebaut werden kann. Mit einem Handy soll es dann möglich sein das zu sehen. Zweck des ganzen ist im Dunkeln nicht sichtbar zu sein. Daran, dass der helle Handybildschirm über Kilometer sichtbar ist, hat der Autor offensichtlich nicht gedacht. Und daran, dass sich die Augen nicht an die Dunkelheit gewöhnen, wenn man auf das Handy guckt auch nicht.Fazit: Hätte jeder Armeefreak der nie wirklich gedient hat sich genauso ausdenken können. Schade, dass ich dafür ein Guthaben ausgegeben habe.

Even ignoring the fact that many of the skills presented here are completely useless for civilians and have nothing to do with the stated purpose of the book (how fast a helicopter can go at what height so you can jump into the ocean for an across the beach infiltration of a denied area) this book is pretty much useless. I'm not sure what's actually in the paper book, but the audio book for the most part consists of a long list of fancy buzz words, most of which are given without any specific information on how to do anything or what to keep in mind while doing it. What is given is often so ridiculously basic you're much better off watching YT videos.
All in all it seems like this book is much less about educating the public and more about the author's ego (or wallet). Which is a pity, since some of the skills promised could at least be interesting, if not truly useful.
