Definitely not the regular “hero is simply the best and will breeze through every obstacle” story; this one is dark! Dark world, dark interactions (one of the best “I know something you don’t and I will use it against you” moments I have read/listened to ever), bloody & brutal fights, and a really great character depiction & development.
Special compliment to the voice actor! Awesome performance - I am amazed by the performance.

I really enjoy the way this story progresses. A few things I personally dislike is the amount of conversation in the book, I feel like it's missing a few more lines as well as Liam's/ Freddies way of talking is frustrating from time to time..

well other than that I am looking forward to book 3

Like the first book the start was kinda slow but the middle and the end were perfect I’m really interested in how it develops

Really Really Good

I really enjoy the worldbuilding in 1% Lifesteal, and Book 2 continues to expand on that in interesting ways. However, the pacing feels unusually slow for a LitRPG, it’s almost slice-of-life at times, which may not be to everyone’s taste. By the end of Book 2, I found myself wishing the author would commit to whether the main character is supposed to be overpowered or not. Every book seems to include at least one scenario where the MC survives only due to heavy plot armor, which breaks immersion. Another issue is the behavior of the villains. They consistently go out of their way to harm the MC, often in ways that don't make much logical sense given their goals or circumstances. It feels forced rather than natural or strategic. That being said, narrator Daniel Wisniewski delivers a fantastic performance as always.

a lot of logical error, plot armor, crying and its not realy a litrpg is more a sice of life genre.
sadly not a gem line "primal hunter" or "defiance of the fall"


i despise Mark completly and every time he is either crying or getting angry that his sister cant go to specific school.
his motivation seems so shallow and stupid

only reason i give overall 4 stars is the narrator he is amazing

the book is good but the MC is sometimes too dumb, so that you feel shame just listening to it sometimes.

So much build-up ends in disappointing conclusions, with no character development. The teen grows even edgier by the end, and the story is full of plot holes.
