Being a good girl never seemed to work out.
My besties have dropped like flies to the power of The List—something we wrote when we were in junior high and swore we would complete if we were still single when we turned thirty.
Well, I'm thirty, I'm single, and it's my turn to start checking items off the list.
I should be traveling the world.
But I'm helping my brother and his business colleague open their ski lodge instead.

I don't know who this new version of me is, but her courage makes me proud.
And the way she's learning to love the man she should steer clear of?
That's scarier than all the list items combined.
Being bad feels too good to stop.
There's only one thing I want to add to my bucket list now.
