It was supposed to go like this: meet-cute at the dog park, have a hot and sexy hookup, and never see each other again.

It’s even better than I imagined.

But Ronan’s still a bossy suit, and I’m a rock star who refuses to be tamed. We make no sense. Then again, sometimes the best things are the most unexpected.

Ronan says I’m his to protect, but I’m beginning to think I could just be his. That is if the danger lurking in the background doesn’t get to me first.

first of all props to the narration. the accents were mmmmmm! the story not so much. As a Fan of j. Wolf I am a little disapointed. the couple was infuriating and did not work for me: there is opposites attract then there is incompatible. this is the latter. i did not believe that These two are going to pull off an HEA. the female MC apparently had incontinency Problems since her panties are constantly "wet" and "soaked". at some point it became ridiculous. her insistence to maintain her perceived freedom over her safety and protection was infuriating but the m MC was the worst Bodyguard ever about how he handled things! everything was over the top. this is my least favorite j. Wolf. Fortunatly the audiobook was for free and I did not have to spend extra money on it. I dont think I will continue with the series.
