[I accidentally got engaged to the evil owl-goddess who is obsessed with the number-three, and now I have to make weapons for our new adventuring guild.]
The war has begun, with the tensions between the elves and the humans having violently exploded. Hineni, as one of the nation’s weapon smiths, is pulled into service for the cause, making countless of the Owl-God’s enchanted weapons to supply the human military with as they’re all dragged down towards the south, towards the war front where they must establish a new presence and home, right on the edge of the battlefield.
As tensions rise between the mortal races, so too do those between the gods, as the vying for might among the powers that be comes to a head here within the masses of violence and destruction.
Walking a tight line between serving his patron god, humanity, and his own new family, Hineni continues his art of weapon-smithing in the name of these things.
Will he and Obscura be able to fight off the Big-Frog once and for all? Will his confused desires to move his family into harm's way come back to haunt him? Will Hineni finally come to understand his muddied and confused past?
