The Flax women reunite in their old hometown in this long-awaited sequel to Mermaids, the novel that became the cult-classic movie starring Cher, Winona Ryder, and Christina Ricci.

From the author of Mermaids comes a sequel to that much-praised saga of life, love, and family. Starfish once again picks up with Charlotte Flax, this time 27 years later as she attempts to raise a grown son and celebrate the birthday of her mother. Elizabeth Evans performs Patty Dann's story with the same humor and empathy demonstrated by Cher and Winona Ryder in the film adaptation of the prequel. Evans and Dann are a knockout combo.
