Poorna Bell
From award-winning journalist Poorna Bell, the funny and uplifting new novel celebrating the freedom to define your own happiness, perfect for fans of Dolly Alderton, Holly Bourne, and Emma Gannon.
Bhoomi is fresh out of a long-term relationship and mourning the future she’d thought would be hers – a large family, lazy weekend mornings and a home entirely of her own. Now she must reimagine what life looks like at 41.
When a late-night Instagram scroll brings her face to face with the reality that her ex has already moved on, Bhoomi decides enough is enough. She creates Plan B – ‘The Baby Plan’ – a mission to find a suitable (enough) man to fall in love with and start a family.
Bhoomi soon finds herself on string of dates ranging from awkward to absurd, as well as reunited with some old flames.
But could it be that she has been searching in the wrong places all along? Maybe she has everything she needs to make this work . . . alone.
