Eden refuses to believe the affable heiress is a murderer, but can she prove that someone is out to frame her new friend before she finds herself on the receiving end of more shear terror?

The narrator manages brilliantly to let the protagonist come to life and also does a fairly good job at imitating the Scottish accent - though her male characters all sound pretty much the same to me.
The ending was a bit weak, leaving a few strings lying forgotten on the floor. It was also a bit of a disappointment that the notorious sex scene the main character (a romance author) kept trying to write never actually did happen. Wrong choice of romantic partner in my view, too, but maybe that's just me.
All in all this book is probably not going to win any literary prizes, but it's a nice holiday or bedtime read.
