From New York Times best-selling author Stephanie Tyler, writing as S. E. Jakes....
Soldier of fortune Prophet Drews always worked alone - until Tom Boudreaux became his partner. But when Tom walked away three months ago, ostensibly to keep Prophet safe, Prophet learned the true meaning of being alone. Everyone knows that Prophet, a Navy SEAL turned CIA spook turned mercenary, can look after himself. Which means he must've driven his lover away. Even with half a world between them, Prophet can't get the man out of his head. Maybe that's why he's in New Orleans in the middle of a hurricane, protecting Tom's aunt.
But the only looter around is Tom, bursting back into Prophet's life. It turns out that Prophet's been stuck in Tom's head - and heart - too. Their explosive reunion gets even hotter when Tom is arrested for murder. As they fight to clear his name, they delve deep into his past, finding enemies among everyone they meet. Staying alive in such a dangerous world is hard enough, but they soon discover that fighting to stay together is the most difficult thing they've ever done.

Was hat Ihnen das Hörerlebnis von Long Time Gone besonders unterhaltsam gemacht?
I already loved Mr North's amazing narration of the first book. With this one he has even gone above and beyond.Wie hat Ihnen Adam North als Sprecher gefallen? Warum?
It is stunning how Mr North changes his voice range to portray Proph's and Tom`s struggle to either push away or let the other one get closer. Contrary to other stories here is no misunderstanding between them because of no talking. They do talk, straight forward, brutally honest and always hope to so scare the other one away. But this doesn't work as both men are just perfect for each other. The relationship between Proph and Tom is one time heartwrenching tender then sexyhot explosive then rough again. Mr.North's voice matches up brilliantly to this fast pace and myriad of emotions. Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Although there are many loose threads left (again), the story of „Long time gone“ ends on a more „listener soothing“ note. This time Proph and Tom are done running from each other and honestly are talking of the slight possibility of a future together despite all their combined ghosts and haunted pasts. Man up, guys!!! I am so ready for audio book 3 now!!!Highly addicted to Proph & Tommy!
