Morgan Drake is the only witness to a murder in an alleyway. Nik Valentinov works for Sanctuary, a foundation offering witness protection to anyone whose safety is compromised. Morgan discovers a bodyguard's arms can offer more than protection.
Morgan is the only person who can give evidence for prosecuting the cop responsible for the crime. When the FBI safe house where he's being held is compromised, he follows the instructions of the agent in charge and runs.
Nik Valentinov works for Sanctuary, a foundation that offers witness protection when FBI security is questionable.
When Morgan's handler sends him to Nik for safety, neither Morgan nor Nik could imagine that two weeks alone in a cabin in the woods would have their hearts racing with something much more than merely trying to keep Morgan alive.

Würden Sie dieses Hörbuch einem Freund empfehlen? Wenn ja, was würden Sie ihm dazu sagen?
„Twenty, one sixty-six,Altamot,western, black cat, lemon pie“. This is the start of my most favourite book series written by RJ Scott. Her „Sanctuary Books“ have been on my Kindle for years and are on regular re-reading every time I feel I need a good, smooth series with great guys, action and a gripping criminal story. When the Audio Book Version of „Guarding Morgan“ came out 2 years later I was glad nobody saw me jumping around in pure joy.Welcher Moment von Guarding Morgan ist Ihnen besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben?
In Sanctuary Book 01 Morgan is at the worng place at the wrong time and witnesses a cold blooded execution to a young woman by an uniformed police officer. Before he can testify his FBI safehouse is compromised .Morgan is on the run to safety with those words above in his head. They lead him to Nik,who works for a private founded organisation providing close protection when all else fails. Nik becomes Morgan's new bodyguard and they hide in the Adirondack wilderness. Soon it is way more for Nik than just keeping Morgan alive! The question, why Elisabeth had to die is just the beginning of a well-structured, multilayered criminal case around a mighty family dynastie being involved in politics and crimes.Hätten Sie das Hörbuch am liebsten in einem Rutsch durchgehört?
Sean Crisden is the absolutely perfect narrator for my most favourite book series. He makes the action, emotion filled plot and hot guys sound so perfectly American, like I had always imagined it while reading. Mr.Crisden's interpretation of young, scared, hurt and beyond exhausted Morgan is brilliant. Nik, in contrast he portrays with a deeper, gruff bodyguard voice. Gosh, those 3 ½ hours listening are simply flying by every time I am listening now to this audio book version.Review on „Guarding Morgan (Sanctuary Book 1)
