Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden is Chicago's only openly practicing wizard. He is also dead broke. His vast knowledge and magical skills are unfortunately matched by his talent for making powerful enemies and alienating friends. With little more than his integrity left, he accepts an offer of work from Lt. Karin Murphy of Chicago's Special Investigations Unit. He wants to redeem himself in Murphy's eyes and make enough money to quiet his rumbling stomach.

Soon he finds himself pinned between trigger-happy FBI agents, shape-shifiting motorcycle gang members, a threatened mobster boss, and an heir to an ancient curse along with his primal fiance. Throw in environmental activists and a pair of young werewolves in love and you have something of Fool Moon.

Sehr gutes Buch.

... on the whole story. like I was there and see what he saw, feel what he felt. I like the thing, the tension between murphy and dresden. I'm going to hear the next title now! 👍 This audiobook I can recommend.
big thank you to James Marsters for bringing so much life to harry!

Felt like I was with him...

James Masters is simply the best in my opinion. I could not think of anyone better for the Harry Dresden Books.

Harry Dresden at its finest....

Well, after the fulminant start of the first book, I was eager to listen to book two that continues the story around the pulpy wizard Harry Dresden. And I was not disappointed. The most characters of the first book were there again, to drive on the global story and to solve a mystery noir story, marvously read by James Marsters, who performs so well, that one could actually believe him to be a spell casting PI in real live. As the story unfolds one gets a little lost in all the different kind of "species" (I don't want to spoil too much) and gangs, groups, cops and mobsters that it could be a little confusing from time to time, but all in all the story is easy to follow and cliché enough to keep the overview. Great book definitely worth a listen!
Ah and the naked people...well...I guess you need to find out yourself :)))

Wolves, Gangs and naked people.
