Jesus was a real person, right? You might be surprised at what data science has to say. Christ Before Jesus presents a first-of-its-kind analysis using proven, peer-reviewed mathematics and software which reveals a second-century origin for the books of the New Testament.
This book reveals that:
- The first reference to Jesus might not come until almost 100 years after his supposed death around the year 30
- The Gospels discuss events that took place in the 130s
- Some of Paul’s letters mention people and books from the 140s and later
- There is evidence the first Christians did not believe in a historical Jesus
- Some early Christians believed Christianity started decades before when Jesus supposedly lived
- And more!
No conspiracies, no ancient riddles, no secret knowledge, just logic and investigation. Follow researchers Matthew Britt and Jaaron Wingo as they examine the evidence for a historical Jesus, Paul, and other New Testament figures, using computerized stylometric analysis to uncover the second-century origins of the Christian religion. Along the way, you’ll even learn how to run these tests yourself and crack the cold case that is Jesus’ existence using cutting-edge methods.
At the intersection of science, history, and religion is the truth.
