Some stories are bigger than baseball. This week, we're honored to share one of them.

On this special episode of Swing and a Miss, we're joined by Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, one of the game's most passionate storytellers and tireless advocates for preserving baseball history.

From the extraordinary legacy of Buck O'Neil to the groundbreaking careers of Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, and countless other legends, Bob takes us into a world of baseball history that deserves far more recognition than it has received.

We explore the importance of the Negro Leagues, the incredible talent and personalities who shaped them, and why preserving these stories isn't just about honoring the past—it's about understanding the game we love today.

But this conversation is about more than statistics, championships, and legendary ballplayers. It's about perseverance, opportunity, friendship, and the power of storytelling to ensure that generations of greatness are never forgotten.

Whether you're a lifelong baseball fan or just discovering the history of the Negro Leagues, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.

Because baseball history isn't complete without Negro Leagues history.

Join us for an unforgettable conversation with Bob Kendrick, right here on Swing and a Miss.
