What an intense and emotional story. Tate and Pax have incredible chemistry and tension from the very beginning, but it was everything underneath that connection that really got to me. This is a story about grief, the fear of losing someone you love, and realizing that moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting the person you lost.

Pax especially stole my heart. His patience, his understanding, and the way he gives Tate space to feel everything she needs to feel without ever demanding more from her was beautiful. And Tate’s growth felt so genuine and emotional that several scenes actually made me cry.

It feels very different from the other books in the series while still being unmistakably Kelsie Rae. Emotional, heartfelt, and beautifully written. An easy 5 stars for me.
