Written about the memories of a boy who lived in hiding during Nazi occupation in Holland, A Child Underground is the true account of a memoir written from the perspective of a real man who remembers.
This boy experiences heartbreak, love, and grows up during one of the most turbulent, unpredictable times in world history. The boy is a survivor, a survivor of all things evil, unjust and wrong with political power.
Best yet, A Child Underground is a great look at history from the perspective of a man years later, written from the perspective of the past.
In conclusion, more than 60 years after the war, A Child Underground, written by Max Cardozo, is an honest look at history and is a great gift for any Jewish person, any fan of great nonfiction, and is great for adults, teens, and even mature children.
