Dr. Bill Creasy
From Solomon’s reign to the prophetic call of Elijah, 1 Kings tells the story of the collapse of David’s united monarchy into a nearly 100-year civil war and the fracture of a nation into two kingdoms: Israel and Judah. Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy journeys deeply into the historical and cultural nuances that underlie this amazing and compelling story.

Logos Bible Study presents Dr. Bill Creasy's lesson on the first book of Kings. Detailing the fall of David and the proceeding chaos, Dr. Creasy makes this complex history that spans centuries both funny and smart with modern analogies and comprehensive historical context. The audio lecture illuminates important concepts including kingships and covenants as well as the symbol of Solomon's temple and Israel's religious infidelity.
