After years of diminishing income due to cratering sales in the music business, Mixerman accepts a timely and lucrative offer from an Indian billionaire to mentor his son, Kanish Kanish. Mixerman's mission? To teach the young "billionheir" everything he knows about producing records. But it isn't long before they're teaching each other about life in general. After an initial carefree romp through California inspires a catchy ditty, the two partner up to produce the song and then break it on the Internet in an effort to get radio spins.

When the first audiobook by Mixerman was about the madness of mixing pro in a studio, this 2nd episode is about the music biz and the insanity of how it operates behind the curtains. For me, I liked the first book much better. This one started out surprisingly interesting but closer to the end I was missing some insight gems from an/ this established engineer. The story is ok but I could have lived without it. No new insights for me, just some entertainment insanity. To the end the story becomes quite absurd before at the same time then starting to criticize the current system run by big tech in a reasonable and clever way. Which both I liked again though. So it has its Ups and downs and a better ending than his first book. And generally good job in recording and style. Looking fwd to a 3rd book.

There is a culture that runs the world. A cult of power shared by an elite going mostly unnoticed by those not in it. It’s a secret and esoteric society, and it covertly controls all governments, media corporations, mass entertainment outlets such as sports media, and all organized religions. It uses fear, superstiton, and utopian ponzi schemes in order to assume control over those that believe in the claims of its priesthood and its miracles.

Ben Greenfield has created the bible of fitness and nutrition, hands down. It is so shockful of knowledge and resources (via related weblinks) that can take you years to study in practice deeply. Ben is like the major chief every fitness guys scientist in this field and Im blown away about all the topics he covers here. There is nothing I can think about he hasnt integrated here.

He is also a great speaker, reading his own book. Sometimes I found it a bit fast how he runs through and over loads of heavy duty words and topics but I also appreciate it from another perspective.

All in all I wish for quicker references there would be a condensed shorter version of this book, like the hardcore sum up as an add on maybe. Thats the skinny I can share about it. Enjoy listening, it is a deep ocean of ptacticle knowledge.

I wäre of this book sometime ago and since then it's name did stick to my mind. Now I got it and listened to the complete audio book in almost no time. It was so good and on point. What I mean is the topic is probably deeper than one expects and Dr Glover doesn't beat around no bush and hits many targets straight and clear. This will be helpful for almost anybody in or off relationships, not just 'nice guys'. I would recommend this to anyone (men, straight or gray doesn't matter) looking for blind spots in their sex life, relationship or lack thereof.

Since the dawn of civilization, men and women have been magnetically and irresistibly drawn together into romantic relationships, not so much by what they see, feel and think, but more by invisible forces. When individuals with healthy emotional backgrounds meet, the irresistible love force creates a sustainable, reciprocal and stable relationship. Codependents and emotional manipulators are similarly enveloped in a seductive dreamlike state; however, it will later unfold into a painful seesaw of love, pain, hope and disappointment.

This dude starts his book by defaming "most other fitness gurus" then states counting calories wont work only to continue claiming it is the best method for weight loss. Complicating maths up next. In the following chapters then fortunatelly he comes up with better insights even though I have personally heard basically not much new and it is not as simple and uncomplicated for newbies as the subtitle may suggest. The book is kind of getting better from chapter to chapter in a way. And the very good thing is he backs up most of his advice with scientific evidence. In this regard this book is a good collection of some other peoples insights. And also he shares great advice and insights about nutrition and (the mostly bad about) supplements. Of course I wouldnt say this is a bad book, it is rather still a very good one but I can only give it 4 stars overall for in a nutshell this guy could at times be included in his own "just another fitness guru" category IMO, first of all sometimes I thought first of all trying hard to sell books. The title itself doesnt really fit, it is a marketing pony stunt. yep. at the end there is a big gulp of self ads, well, that should say it all for my quick review.
