I like the story a lot: a strong, witty heroin, facing her destiny while surviving the pain of her past, gets saved by people who become her new family. And again she needs to make a hard decision, one that might cost her life but will safe the people she cares about so much. Could be a perfect audio book, were it not for the narrator's voice... she reads with such a bored atonation, it nearly put me to sleep, even during the fighting scenes.

A bit disappointing

Even my two favourit narrators couldn't make up for the missing action in the story. It had potential, but then the author just skipped over the exiting part, when she just send Skylar back to Ohio instead of following through with the potential action of bringing Walt down.

ok, but an annoying female voice

The story is ok, though pretty predictable. The male narrator could have a bit more variance in his tonage, however the female voice was much too squeaky-girly for my liking. The character "Lilly" is supposed to be a temperamental, seductive woman, but the narrator made her sound like a stupid Barbie doll.

Good Narrators, story ok

Both narrators are good, even so I reduced the speed slightly, since the female was reading to fast for my liking - it felt a bit rushed.
The story is ok , but nothing special. Allthough the swap-party scene came as a surprise an made me laugh out loud.

boring and too cheasy for my taste

The book is the insta-love story of Avery and Daniel and starts off rather promising, but turns quickly into boring and very cheasy. Not even my two favourite narrators could save this story. (the beginning of the story reminded me of "180 seconds" by Jessica Sparks, which is actually a wonderful love-at-first-sight story!)

nice story and good voices

I like stories with witty dialogues such as Phoenix and Gage's. The narrators voices are both perfectly carrying the sexual tension between the two protagonists.

funny dialogues

the story is nice and funny, but a bit predictable. many of the dialogues put a grin on my face. the female narrator is very good, the male one, while speeking the role of Dillon is also good, but his impersonation of the female roles needs improving - his Zoe e.g. sounds like a brainless teenage-girl.

Good story abaut a woman needing to overcome her bad upbringing and her traumatized past to find her happy ever after. The male narrator is very good, but the female one get's a bit annoying over the time. It seems like she tries to reed every word with feeling, not just the dialogues, but for me that somehow transcriptes into an ongoing whining, that got on my nerves after a while.

Seriously?

Well, if that wasn't one of the worst stories, I've read/heard in a looong time. The whole plot is so ridiculously unbelievable it's not even funny anymore. A man and a woman see each other at a wedding from a distance, have oral sex within an hour in a church w/o even exchanging first names. They meet again by accident at the woman's parents place, because he got (fake) engaged to the sister. Not only do they anyway continue to have sexual encounters, they also fall in love w/o even really talking to each other. This story is a total waste of time and money. Not even the sex scenes are worth mentioning!
