It doesn't seem the author or speaker had any dedication - this crash course does nothing but bringing deep sleep. It´s as listless, tiring and dispassionate as a textbook can be. After the first hours I stopped listening, so far I found only minor mistakes.

It’s enchanting to listen these stories with your little ones - it takes even us parents into a magic world. An enthralling journey everyone wishes he or she would have made themselves. Not too creepy for the younger ones, but thrilling and sometimes even mesmerizing.

Sleep is one of the most important but least understood aspects of our life, wellness, and longevity. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why we suffer such devastating health consequences when we don't sleep. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking, and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Nevertheless it’s a great book about the importance of a good night sleep, an people should really know more about. I’d just have been more interested in the “why” as suggested by the title.

Was hat Ihnen am allerbesten an Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims gefallen?

These stories make history much more palatable for kids than schooling ever did...

Was mochten Sie an der Handlung am liebsten?

It's just about the way it's told.

Würden Sie sich auch für ein anderes Hörbuch interessieren, das Rush Limbaugh spricht?

Going to get the whole series.

Hat dieses Hörbuch Sie emotional stark bewegt? Mussten Sie laut z.B. lachen, weinen, zweifeln, etc.?

Nope ;-)

Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?

For the younger ones the speaker is a little too excited - speaking much too fast quite often. Should be ok for high school students, for a 6 yo it's hard to follow.

It's nice to get an overview, to learn a bit about holistic integrative medicine. But it's not "the science"... By and large, a great course for those who are new to the topic, but don't expect to much depth.

Parenting advice isn't hard to find. There are thousands of books on the subject, as well as a multitude of websites. Much has also been written on the science of child development. What's been lacking, however, are sources of reliable advice that bring together the scientific research and its real-world applications.
