I liked this audiobook because it was well-narrated. The stories as such had well-painted and likeable characters, but they didn't seem to be going anywhere, really, which I thought was a pity. There were three episodes in all, but the reader was left without a sense of closure to Dunc and Egg's story.

I enjoyed this audiobook. It is well narrated. The story is entertaining, though a bit predictable, at times. The characters are relateable and I definitely wanted to know how things would pan out for everyone, but if you have read similar books, you know where this is going.

Very well told closing story to the Mr Mercedes trilogy that wrapped up all loose ends.

I enjoyed this book, though it took me a bit to get into it. I hadn't expected such a long backstory, though all of it turned out to be important. Bill Hodges took a bit of a backseat to the crazy fan setting out to at least rob, or at most kill his favorite author - now, where have King's readers heard that before? - and a boy finding something that's not really his to keep. The final third of the book brought it all together in the end. Am looking forward to the last part of the trilogy.

Though I'm not usually a crime fan, I thoroughly enjoyed both this story and the narrator's performance.

I loved this novella because it was a really enjoyable story set in a part of Castle Rock that King hadn't explored before. It has a relatable main character in Gwendy, a girl of around 12 with a 12-year-old's worries and concerns. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she gets the button box, and she is confronted with the age old question of how much we are really in control of how our lives shape out. Very recommendable to anyone who enjoys a tale of the unexpected.

I loved listening to this audio book. King painted the characters very vividly, though not in a way that would have given anything away. The reader has to choses a side by him- or herself. The story is absolutely compelling. It was beautifully told, the speaker kept my attention at all times. I would recommend this read to anyone who enjoys crime and horror.
