Generally, OKRs are a great concept and this book is a hands on introduction. I feel there are a bit too many examples that some across as a pitch and someone is trying to sell me something. I don't think that's necessary. Also, having many readers is a funny idea but actually distracting.

TLDR: The organization's top level mission can be broken down intro measurable objectives and key results that are then rippling through the organization so that everyone knows how they fit in and create value.

Best business/startup book on Audible!

I went through a bunch of startup and business management books on Audible, most were really good but this one is so far by far the best: It's more of a tutorial than a book, with a multi-step plan for how to built a successful marketing story.

In short: focus your marketing story on the customer's true needs and desires instead of focusing on your business, then translate that into an effective website and HR tool.

The speaker is way too slow but that doesn't matter as you can listen to the book at 1.5-2.0x the normal speed which is then also a very manageable duration to listen to.

Most points are really insightful, interesting and helpful for any entrepreneur. I world give 5 stars if it wasn't for the cockiness of the author and the somewhat monotone voice of the reader.

a classic must-read

this is a classic of startup literature. it's been around for a few years but is simply a great story that's not too chatty and not too theoretical. I also appreciate authors reading their own books. great job on that too!

TLDR: a successful startup opimizes learning (not cash), make experiments with measurable outcome and thus profit from validates learning.

not just great and relevant for app startups

this is one of the longer startup books but I truly enjoyed it and found it helpful. Trying to bring methodology in the style of a "how to" guide for billion dollar apps is of course dangerous / impossible but the suggestions from real examples are great either way.

very useful with many examples

I liked the practical aspects but that was also a bit my problem: many times the examples were too specific or deep

great tips but too lengthy

I liked the methodology and practical tips from real world settings but had the feeling that this could be conveyed in 15 minutes instead of a full blown book
