I think only Rosario Dawson could do it better. Given that Marc Visitor did Croaker.

This book concisely conveys what is needed theoretically and practically to get an intuitive design and it is really a game changer as it provides realistic measures to evaluate a design. Would definitely recommend and it's worth it's length in gold.

I would recommend it to anyone interested in designing UI, UX and Web Developers alike.

Targeted attack and determined human adversaries (DHA) have changed the information security game forever. Writing secure code is as important as ever; however, this satisfies only one piece of the puzzle. Effective defense against targeted attack requires IT professionals to understand how attackers use - and abuse - enterprise design to their advantage. To defend against hackers, you must first learn to think like a hacker.

The author really crafted a great book here. Clear and concise.
An extended edition with additional discussions on system design would be much appreciated.

While this book is more suited to intermediate investors it also provides insights into financial decision making for beginners.
So the things one can learn here are really invaluable to any investor.
Keep a pen and paper handy and mind the time gap between release and purchase/listen date!

While Jim Cramer's narration style (and voice) was bothering me in the beginning I soon came to like it and I would advise anyone to give it a chance!
Recommended.

Empfehlung:
Ja, falls man finanzielle Planung unter Berücksichtigung einer Theorie näher kennen lernen will.
Ansonsten nein.

This is in my opinion not a good introduction to Les Brown.
First, if you have an audible subscription, there is the Les Brown collection which includes this for only a (relative to the content) small premium above this.
Second, I came from the Secret to Success from Eric Thomas and if you like his story driven style, this will be different, very different. This is more in line with the regular motivational speaker content and you need to prepare for this if you want to enjoy it.
Second point only applies to 'beginners', the content is actually amazing once you get into it.
But I had to listen to it twice first.
So my recommendation: get the Les brown collection instead. There will be interview style content as well, which I prefer. Les Brown is great and this is worth your money, but you can get more. You gotta be hungry :)

I really liked the content and the presentation but it gets a little too sports heavy in the end. I realize that the author is a sports psychologist but the last few chapters are a bit too centered on sports specific information and an addition of a few more example extending to other areas might be helpful.

Yes it is all transferable, usable and practical. Would recommend and as the author emphasizes one should really apply the insights he provides and maybe keep a notebook handy for more areas to which one might apply the information and techniques.

What is the connection between individual freedom and social and political authority? Are human beings fundamentally equal or unequal? In 16 in-depth lectures, Professor Dalton puts the key theories of power formulated by several of history's greatest minds within your reach. These lectures trace two distinct schools of political theory, idealism and realism, from their roots in ancient India and Greece through history and, ultimately, to their impact on the 20th century.
