The Strange Death of Europe
- Immigration, Identity, Islam
- Autor: Douglas Murray
- Sprecher: Robert Davies
- Spieldauer: 12 Std. und 17 Min.
The Strange Death of Europe is a highly personal account of a continent and culture caught in the act of suicide. Declining birth rates, mass immigration, and cultivated self-distrust and self-hatred have come together to make Europeans unable to argue for themselves and incapable of resisting their own comprehensive alteration as a society and an eventual end.

The discussion of immigration is one-sided.

The author is scaremongering the close future of Europe due to immigration. For certain, this is a major challenge of our time which will need an efficient management. Nevertheless, the first chapter was illustrating the history of immigration in the second part of the 20th century as a chain of political failure and naivism which will certainly cause the destruction of European values. Allthough I have a high interest in the topic, this perspective was so negatively biased that I couldn't keep up to continue to the next chapters. A more holistic view on humanity would be desirable which discuss the motivation of immigration, the wealth gap and it's chances besides it's risks.
