i love the tucker springs series but this one is not worth it. the whole Christian theme isnt me cup of tea and the story never really picked up. it was also very short.

good but too short

I loved the story. but this author just doesnt take their time writing. the events are coming in quick succession and there is a constant pov switch. also sometimed it seems part of the story are missing or have not been properly explained. POSSIBLE SPOILER e.g. harald was never introduced as a friend, he was never mentioned, suddenly he is there, also Jack regardless of his incarceration should have been banned from packlands yet there was no mention of this. the idea for the story has potential but further editing is definitely needed.

just weird

this story was just weird. i feel it was in heavy need of editing. there were just some things that felt discombobulated. like (SPOILER ALERT) Owens weird relationship with his mother which is explained at the end of the book but doesnt feel justified. then there is the unemotional way the killing of the pups is talked about like someone lost his shoe not at all like the murder of all the children of the pack. this trauma is treated like a banality!??? and then the odd story with Lyssander. they are best friends and suddenly he is a murderer and the alfa after learning he killed the pups, after witnessing him attack his pregnant mate and walk into his house with armed humans lets him go???? What???? and then the weird bridge scene. what was that all about? he didnt want to jump but he didn't move away from it when he was surrounded by media and nearly exposed by the full moon because he needs to think? ??? and when they are discovered they pack up calmly and wait for HOURS for a friend to get his mates mother from the hospital. packs are attacked by humans left and right and they were discovered but they have time to sit and wait around? What????? The idea is cool but the execution was poor. there was so much illogical storytelling. not worth it.

this book was not a pageturner. if you cut the sex scenes only approx 30 pages would be left. like 80% is the two dudes getting it on. i am usually all for that but come on they never even talk to each other. the main char is supposed to catch feelings for the other dude. i don't feel it. there is great sexual chemistry between them but just writing they are hot for each other and me actually thinking man they're hot for each other are two different worlds. don't write they think they hot, you have to make the reader read between the lines. this was too plump and direct. no literary artistry in this. they only start really talking to each other, really making an emotional connection in the second book. the author should have taken the two books cut half of the sex scenes and pu them into one then maybe this would have been better. but like this... meeh no excitement whatsoever

i listened to the whole audiobook. i had listened to little wolf before whicc i found captivating so this book of course had it harder. but i found this book somehow disjointed. it started somewhat abruptly and the love between the two main chars was somehow not well descibed. you could not feel the love. and the old (spoiler alert) i will not enter in a relationship with you bc you will just leave me anyway thing is getting old. bitch please and the murder mistery don't get me started on this you have no connection to the villain or any real understanding for his reason... so all in all it was a bit meeh

omigod this is a gem.
just everything about this audiobook is perfekt.

ps listen to it while you're in a cozy cabin in the woods while it's snowing outside, you're drinking hot chocolate and sitting by the window listening to this audiobook while looking at the logs burning in the fireplace

so i Started with dirty laundry and then i listened to second hand so obviously the wrong order. this story is good but a it decreases in goodness from the third book, i think. i found this book a bit too predictable and leading up straight to the peak. (SPOILER ALERT) also i found the reason why they cant be together dumb. two men living together who are attrakted to each other and they are just supposes to not do anything. get realistic something was going to happen sooner or later. and besides what does michael want to do not have a relationship with anybody bc his son Couls be dissappointed when they split up? so all in all the story was ok but the credibility of the split up reason was not there...

nice

i really liked this Book. I don't know in which Order Heidi wrote the Books but i feel like she got her Inspiration for double blind during writing this book. this book was really good. i loved how secluded but emotional she portrayed El and how vulnerable but passionate she made Paul. a really cute story

great Book!
