The fruit of the long history of John Brockman's profound engagement with the most important scientific minds who have been thinking about AI - from Alison Gopnik and David Deutsch to Frank Wilczek and Stephen Wolfram - Possible Minds is an ideal introduction to the landscape of crucial issues AI presents. The collision between opposing perspectives is salutary and exhilarating; some of these figures are deeply concerned with the threat of AI, including the existential one, while others have a very different view.

Cybernetics 2.0 would have been a fitting title. This volume builds from a contemporary overview of perspectives on AI to deliver advanced predictions of the underlying patterns of intelligence that run our world. Highly recommend it.

In an audiobook that challenges everything you thought you knew, W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne assert that tomorrow's leading companies will succeed, not by battling their rivals for market share in the bloody "red ocean" of a shrinking profit pool, but by creating "blue oceans" of untapped new market spaces ripe for growth.

A book capable of expanding your view on finding new markets and business opportunities. Novelty is a thing and differentiation in business. This book suggests a model for thinking out of the box when it comes to creativity in business.

Emotions feel automatic to us; that's why scientists have long assumed that emotions are hardwired in the body or the brain. Today, however, the science of emotion is in the midst of a revolution on par with the discovery of relativity in physics and natural selection in biology. This paradigm shift has far-reaching implications not only for psychology but also medicine, the legal system, airport security, child-rearing, and even meditation.

Crazy thorough research and well written. There is some scientific rigor in the exact use and definition of terms, which helps underline the credibility of the paradigm-shifting ideas presented. Highly recommended for anyone interested in emotion, neurology and the human condition.
