When Dorothy Guildford is found stabbed to death in her home, all signs point to her husband, Peter. The forensic psychologist is convinced there's more to the case than meets the eye, but Police Scotland are certain they have their man. This is the first Alex Gray I couldn’t stop reading because I felt something very nasty was going to happen. The trafficking problem was completely intertwined with stories and developments of the characters. Alex Gray gives them all time to grow and so the have all grown on me as well. Such a beautiful story, thank you also for Joe Dunlop back as narrator !

When I started reading Faye Kellermann I just started to study and was fascinated to learn about Jewish culture, romantic love and the crime of LA.
This year I went to USA for the first time and instantly reminded of the novels. Toll some time but I re heard most of them and loved too see the characters develop
The new voice needs some time to get attuned to my ear but I think it is just that bit of a bear growl for the women characters that make me wonder

Peter May is an artist with his detailed and sympathetic description of either People as well as surroundings. I stayed in May in Glasgow close to the Battlefield Road and it was a pleasure to be back home away from home.
The story is so tight knit, it overwhelms you being suddenly within all this tassel and ends so wonderful I am really sad to leave the people and story behind! A wonderful read 👏👏👏
