I can't wait to see how the story continues! Dean Koontz never disappoints. Vivid literary descriptions, never a boring moment.

Dean Koonzt has shown once again that he is indeed the master of his craft! The narration by Suzy Jackson is one of the best I have heard.

A masterful, intensely suspenseful novel about a reader whose obsession with a reclusive writer goes far too far - a book about the power of storytelling, starring the same trio of unlikely and winning heroes King introduced in Mr. Mercedes. "Wake up, genius." So begins King's instantly riveting story about a vengeful reader. The genius is John Rothstein, an iconic author who created a famous character, Jimmy Gold, but who hasn't published a book for decades.

Stephen King did not disappoint! Love the Hodges series. The narrator has a voice that I had to get used to but fitting for the genre.

The complexity of the story is revealed only as you continue to read. I loved the idea it represents. The narrator was great, through his words the book became very lifelike. A great last sentence!

What a great book! There was definitely no lack of suspense here. Gripping from beginning to end with plenty of opportunities to be scared! The narrative was very good and well. Especially liked the alternating male and female voices for different characters.

I found the beginning a bit slow, but after a while Koontz had my full attention. Probably not one of his best books, but still definitely worth reading!
